Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef, elk, or other meat of your choice
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 teaspoons Smoked Garlic Powder
- 2 tablespoons Smoky Arizona Chile Powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons Herbin' Ranch Seasoning
- 4 (14.5 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans with liquid
- Salt to taste
Preparation
In a large stockpot, combine ground meat and onion. Cook and stir over medium heat until the meat is browned. Then, drain any excess fat.
Add Smoked Garlic Powder, Smoky Arizona Chile Powder, salt, Herbin' Ranch Seasoning, tomatoes, and tomato sauce to the pot. While stirring, break up the tomatoes. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 1 hour. Be sure to stir occasionally.
After 1 hour, stir in the beans. Let the chili simmer, uncovered, for an additional 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully. Taste and add salt or additional seasonings as desired. For an extra kick, try our Sonoran Sun Hot Sauce Powder.
